The claim overstates Berlin’s place in the war’s final days. The Battle of Berlin was a decisive and often-described final major blow against Nazi Germany, but it was not clearly the last significant attack in Europe, because substantial fighting continued afterward, including the Prague Offensive and other post-Berlin engagements. The evidence better supports calling Berlin one of the last major battles, not the final significant one.
