The widely shared image does look like a yin-yang and was circulated by major outlets as a visualization of entangled photons’ joint state. But the image was not a spontaneous yin-yang discovered in nature; it was a reconstructed result based on an intentionally encoded pattern in the experiment. That makes the claim broadly accurate but easy to overread.
